Sports 100 free tickets to today’s Tiger game

Kirk Gibson has placed 100 free tickets at will call window 16 available starting at 11am. He wants people to feel the playoff chase atmosphere and the excitement of a Tarik Skubal start.

Game is at 1:10 vs Colorado. Tigers are 3 games out of the wild card with 16 games left.

See you at the game!

Sports I was in disbelief over that game

I was at a buddies house playing Warhammer, we checked the score and we had triple SF's score, we thought we had this shit in the bag, victory lap time. I get home, brag about how we're going to the Superbowl and my family just glares at me and thought i was kidding. How the hell did we blow that lead?!?!

The game will start at 2:00am my time, so wishing the Lions a great game, Detroit my home, and all fans a great day of fun and positive vibes!

Today, I’m just outside of Innsbruck, Austria, and we just got some good snow. In addition to skiing, there is some amazing sledding runs, which I was doing today. This is a bit of a hike, but it’s a 5-mile downhill run! Cheers!

Sports Hooper, Paws, or Roary? Which is the best Detroit Mascot?

Also an honorable mention to Al the Octopus- even though its not an actual "living" mascot at the events. Personally, Paws is my favorite because hes a cute tiger with a hat and i met him and got to give him a hug as a little kid. But Hooper is hilarious at the Pistons game and Roary is great too!

Anyways, I was curious to hear what other Detroiters think, or if they give a shit lol

Sports Why NBC analysts say Lions are NFL’s best team after dominating Packers

Why NBC analysts say Lions are NFL’s best team after dominating Packers

Some players arrive on gameday dressed to the nines. Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Lions arrived at a rainy Lambeau Field dressed like they already knew they were the NFL’s best team. Then, they put their money where their sweatshirts were in a convincing 24-14 win over the Packers on Sunday.

So convincing that all three of NBC’s Football Night in America analysts believe Detroit (7-1) erased any doubts in its victory over Green Bay (6-3).

“What do you want them to do?” asked Chris Simms. “They can run the ball, they can throw the ball, the special teams are great, the defense makes plays.”

Detroit Lions genuinely seem like the best all around team in the NFL right now.
