Stellan stood like a statue, silent and unblinking as Emaline explained that she was leaving him for that insatiable gang of drakes from the next pond over.

Stellan fell for the oldest scam in the book: falling for an incredibly beautiful, intelligent, and cunning gypsy duck, who left him for her next victim.
Now flat broke and heartbroken, Stellan sat by the pond's edge, feeling bitterness creep in. She had robbed him of everything and, indeed, his dignity.
This was the time to hatch a plan. He wouldn't be a victim to this two-bit hustling trolop. No! He would get his money back while simultaneously unveiling the horrible creature she was.
That's when he called the notorious mobster hawk, Guido.
