My friend's sister had the best story about trying to learn to ski. After watching her fall and struggle to get up (multiple times?) this 3-yr-old skis over to her, says something like, "Here, let me show you how to get back up." Kid falls down next to her, does a perfect recovery, then says, "now you do it!" Sister, wavering between abject embarrassment and murderous intent, mumbles, "Go away, kid."

Yeah. Kids that age don't "read the room" well. And, I left out a sentence: good-looking ski instructor, class, all those other witnesses...
