Hey all you lovely peeps.
I’ve been toying with this for over an hour and a half and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to drag the sample after I change the tempo and key to my project and keep the updated tempo and key. No matter what I try and keeps going back to the original.
I’m trying to use this because I think it saves a bit of time but here is what I’m doing if anyone knows.
Add bridge to a midi so it activates Go into splice find a sample you like change the key and tempo to your track. Buy the sample. In my library it has the UPDATED tempo and key which I changed. Now when I drag that into my song it still goes back to the original…what do I need to do?
Thanks for the help.
EDIT: holy hell I figured it out for the 1 person that may be interested. There’s a bar on the bottom of splice that has the key tempo etc which once edited turns blue, there’s an icon next to the key that says “copy to clipboard”. Once you’ve changed the key and tempo you have to literally drag that icon into your daw not from your library. Would have never fkin thought to do that

I published a song through Amuse, and it wasn’t approved because it’s suspected to be AI.
The instrumental and beat are entirely my own, made in FL. The vocals have a lot of effects, so they sound robotic, but I know that Travis Scott also uses similar settings. So, I’m curious about what exactly they look at to determine whether something is AI or not.

Hello i have been producing for about 2 years now and have started taking it more seriously the past 6 months but mixing and mastering 808’s has slowed down my progress considerably. I’ve watched hundreds of tutorials at this point but i just can’t get them to sound good.
The main issue i’m running into is getting them to punch hard but not blow out speakers. I’m having a VERY hard time trying to mix the 808’s to sound good in a car. i try to add a multi band compressor and eq out the unwanted higher frequencies, usually is too loud and overpowers other sounds in my songs. If i lower it or try to eq it down more then you can barely even hear it in the mix and doesn’t hit at all. I just don’t know what to do next because no matter what i try on most 808’s it doesn’t hit, maybe im not using the rights sounds but im very lost…this is kinda my last resort post because trying to get clean mix on a single 808 pattern has drained my enjoyment of making most of my songs, mostly because i know if i fixed a few specific things I could get it to sound way better but i just can’t figure it out for the life of me

The mix in my flp sounds perfect, but when I hit export there's one sample that becomes so much louder. It's just a sampler channel instrument and there are no effects on it. How to fix it?

I've watched videos on reels by Isaac Horner and his scroll marker is at the far left so it's always scrolling even at the start, whereas mine stays still until the marker reaches near the centre of the screen. How do I change this?

Does any one have good tips to save on space in the slots, I’m currently trying to make Edm music but I need a lot of separate sounds and in the fruity edition there’s a max of 8

Hi I have a passion project for school and I wanted to know if it anyone would like to be a mentor for me on the project. My project is a tutorial video on how mix and master vocals on FL studio(information about mixing and mastering in general would be useful) and I need to write down mentors that will instruct me that possess the skills im trying to convey on my passion project. I won't require much only your names and I may message you occasionally if I need help with the project.

So I want to make boom bap sounding beats. I’m a hip hop head and a sampler at that but I just can’t make boom bap for the life of me. Does anybody have any advice to get that going? What helped you out?

^ this is the music I used to make before coming back to it. I haven’t made anything yet.

I'm trying to assign one of my MIDI controller knobs to directly control the Vital - Macro 1 automation clip in FL Studio. I currently have the knob mapped to record automation in real time within the Pattern, but I'd prefer to link the MIDI knob to the automation clip itself so I can retain full envelope editing and keep the automation separate from the MIDI note data. Is there a way to do this?

I want to record electric guitar but I'm aware that you need to pass the signal through an amp before connecting it to the audio interface, however my amp sucks so I was wondering if there's a way I can skip the amp part and just connect the guitar directly into the audio interface using some settings or a plugin to make it work, maybe a third party digital amp or something similar directly inside FL? Thanks in advance.

Didn't quite know how to word it, but here is essentially what it sounds like (just listen to the synth beginning): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcamjcoRmrQ
Either in 3x Osc or Magic 8-Bit plugin is fine.

My issue is that awhile ago I used to be able to play my flp’s on my speakers input out loud and simultaneously be able to have my focusrite microphone input be armed and live. I’d use this to practice my sets and have my flps as a backtrack.
Currently to play a flp out of my speakers I have to change my input in settings to ASIO4ALL v2. That is the only input that will let me play my music off of my speakers.
The problem is when I change to asio4all v2 it also changes my input options on the mixer so I can no longer select focusrite as an input to use my microphone and simultaneously have my music play.
Is there any work around for this? I’d appreciate it. I’m on fl v24.2.2
