I see this as a win.

Anything to undermine Trump in the militaries eyes so they don't support any sort of action he demands.

If he keeps showing them no respect at all, scamming/hurting their families, or the time for being the commander in chief, then I hope he continues to lose their support. He's already lost a lot from the veterans.
