We were told repeatedly and now we’re learning the hard way. What could have been done differently?

This is absolutely the craziest line of thinking. Your stocks are first, they will be crying once their bread costs $500

Anyone remember when bread wasn't $5?

In January 1913, a pound of potatoes cost less than two cents, and in 1950, a loaf of bread was 12 cents. Additionally, the price of a loaf of bread had risen to 17.1 cents in 1947 and reached 35.3 cents by April 1973

Minimum wage was $1.90 in 1972

How's that for perspective!

In 1973, a minimum wage worker could buy 5 loaves of bread with one hour's pay. Today, they can buy 1-2 (maybe 3 with a really good store brand sale).

No, they won't. They will be singing Trump's praises from the gutter eating cat food. Americans are dogshit and this is what we deserve.

You are free to believe whatever you want, I ask you when we are all poor together wallowing in the muck will you change your tune once the evidence is before your very eyes? Or will you continue to willingly accept propaganda?

Bro take an economics class, and stop blaming the financial ruin that all of society endured due to COVID on Joe biden. It's exhausting that you all can't see beyond "the past four years"

You keep saying blanket statements like “I had no issue with Trump or Obama” but I did with Biden?

Can you describe what polices you did not like under Biden ?

Because I can name at least two policies which I believe have benefited the economy

  1. The Chips Act
  2. The infrastructure and jobs act

Guess what happened shortly after this period? Unemployment went down, inflation came down stocks were at an all time high. There are objective statistics for this as well that I would gladly produce

We were the envy of every foreign nation in our recovery from Covid. You’re not based in objective reality whatsoever you just say shit.

Based on this conversation it’s going to hit you a lot worse than it will me, also I’d ask for your money back from your university it clearly didn’t help 😹
