Potential light upgrades
Super interested in upgrading to all these lights. Cost to purchase should be around £700. Is there anything I should be wary of for installation processes and any issues with these products?
Thanks

I added a few reflective red tape strips front and back on my blue focus.

If you get the vland style headlights, make sure you get a D2H/ D2S type led bulb, preferably with ballast. If you've got a lower/standard trim focus and want daytime running lights, you'll have to relocate a pin on the light connectors and program your BCM. I can't dig through my phone for specifics right now, but hopefully that general info helps, I've got the vland style installed on mine, pairs nicely with sequential mirror leds(easy install, no programming needed for those)

My focus has halogen lighting with no DRL..
And D2H meaning?
Also I’m guessing they come in xenon housing, but you can purchase your own xenon bulbs if you purchase the one without?

Yeah, so you'll have to go the BCM/pin relocation route; it's more simpler than it might appear, just extra steps
D2H is the size/receptacle type
The light assemblies don't come with any bulbs

Following because I’ve been looking at the same thing. Sorry I can’t help, but I’ll be back to see.

On the mk2.5 I got cheap AliExpress lights on the back €25 for both replacing fog and reverse lights so they’d have one on each. No wiring instructions so had to figure that out and install myself. But they lasted 4 years. The indicators, fog, reverse all work but the DRL are patchy in places so I’m replacing them because they cost €25
