Well if you think your good go for it.
I would say, you would be better to start a 1k account of your own and do 20% of what u do here. It will quickly scale and it's you vs the market as you been playing.
With prop firms they have a lot of (often useful) rules, so it's you vs the market vs there rules. It's a lot harder.
I'd say it's like 20% of traders are profitable using there own capital. About 1 or 2% are profitable via prop firms. It's like 10x harder and you gotta be very good or very lucky

Your are right but the point is I don't have that money but I have the skills as you said it's so much harder but I think I don't have a way

u/webbinatorr 1d ago
Yeah but even a 100 buck account scaled is better than a 100 buck failed propo. If you don't have the cash even more so. You lose 1 big trade on prop it's game over. With our own money you probably still have 80 or 90% moneys

In 100 buck the problem is brokerage fee platform fee and crypto transaction fee they cost a lot that is the problem

You're bringing problems to your solution with that mindset.
Trust in yourself, grow your own account - clearly, you've got what it takes.

I work on price action and liquidity and to reduce the risk I work on trail sl because I want to survive in the market
1
u/kachi3936 1d ago
When do you trail your sl? And how do you determine how you personally use a trailing sl?
Thanks in advance

u/notkaizen07 1d ago
I wait until my price hits 1:1 rr after that I bring the sl to close to breakeven and check if there is key level if it is a key level I will put the sl below that because price ca recheck the lvl and when it will be 1:2i will bring it to above breakeven where I will be having my trade fees and it will be the no loss trade so basically it will be no losse but lot to gain then when it reaches my target I will bring the sl to 1:2 rr so will make 2 dollars even it goes against me and then I will just leave the trade to hit my trail sl. I want to go as high as possible I hope u understand what I am trying to say. sorry for bad English

u/kachi3936 1d ago
I greatly swift appreciate your reply. If you want to go as high as possible when do you know to close? Thanks alot
2
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
I don't close it I will let my trail sl do the thing I will close the trade if there is any news coming out I don't hold trades when there is high impact news just go on with the trend if you are correct hold it if you are wrong cut the loss most of the time people do the opposite thing they hold the loss and hope it goes up and take smaller profits always have a good risk reward ratio

u/kachi3936 1d ago
Your English is very good by the way. I had no problem understanding, though the explanation was kind of confusing.🤝🏾

u/notkaizen07 23h ago
Sorry for that basically don't cut to profit after u get 1:2just go on with trail sl with big candle wicks whenever u get hit it will close your trade 1:2 is the least u get a big target by not keeping target

Don’t even worry about that right now. You need to get the skill down fully. I know a guy that thought he was trading a strategy that he learned, and made 10k (live money from just a couple hundred dollars!) But come to find out he actually got lucky and was trading the strategy wrong the whole time and later blew the whole 10K. He was SICK after that loss!

u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Therefore, I intend to begin with a small scale and evaluate it before expanding further.

Demo account removes the true barrier to successful trading, emotion. With that said, start small and see if you can maintain your current trading strategy while real money is being risked.

I completely agree; however, while I am not new to trading, I am relatively new to forex trading, having been involved for over a year now.

Whatever you do don’t do that 1 lot size. Taking multiple trades that go from 3121.065 -> 3122.164 with a 1 lot size and profiting $100 off it doesn’t show me that you actually know what you’re doing. It shows you were confident on demo. That won’t reflect the same way on a real account. For example: i sold thursday night from 3108.88 and i closed at 3088.29. You should be displaying trades like this on a regular basis. Your screenshots look like gambling.

Most of my small trades are because of trail sl they go to certain point but not to my take profit and they just come and hit back for that reason I have a good risk management and I will survive the market and in a sharp momentum I do take trade and scalp some of it but I don't do that often u can call it whatever you want idc

u/Zealousideal_Flan689 1d ago
Don’t talk about it then. Do it. You do care otherwise there’s no need to post
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Yo bro chill I get your point and really don't get angry.. BTW which profirm u use
2
u/Zealousideal_Flan689 1d ago
Just tough words brotha it’s all love lol. I dont use prop firms. I started with $150 march 3 and 10x it with a 100% winrate. But to get to this point i easily lost over 10k before I finally settled with my strategy and risk management protocol
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Good to hear that what setup do you use and 100% win rate is just unbelievable like what.... I think there is no such setup that can predict 100% if it is u can beat Elon musk in months by compounding it I don't wanna tease u or something like that but I don't think it's possible bro
2
u/Zealousideal_Flan689 1d ago
Noone needs to be elon musk rich haha my goal is 2-5k a week and that’s achievable. I lose trades but my strategy is setup so i can lose 6 trades back to back and still make it all back plus more in one trade. That’s the secret really. The risk management. This is because my strategy is centered around a combination of smart money concepts and identifying ascending and descending triangle/flag patterns. So i’m trading breakouts basically.

u/notkaizen07 1d ago
That's really interesting I hope you hit your targets... 👍
2
u/Zealousideal_Flan689 1d ago
Yeah man you can make it very simple for yourself. What market session are you showing up to every day and what price action pattern are you looking for? Every successful trader will gravitate to 1 or 2 patterns. Some people like the ict turtle soup pattern for example. Choose one you like and thats it. Major institutions communicate to each other through price bouncing off the moving average you’ll see that a lot in the market alongside the confirmation of the pattern you’re looking for

Do it! I just passed my prop firm last week and already up 8.5% trading just Gold And Us30

u/DrSpeckles 2d ago
Yes go for it. Use tiniest lot sizes possible to see how it goes with fees and spreads included. Then scale up from there.
1
u/notkaizen07 2d ago
I use lot based on my risk reward and decide the lots and thanks for the suggestion
2
u/DrSpeckles 2d ago
Yea that’s all good, but go back to .01 initially to see if the live account works the same.

u/Firm-Review-4879 2d ago
How much do u plan to risk per account
1
u/Firm-Review-4879 2d ago
Per trade, sorry
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
I only trade s+ setups so I go with 3 percent risk per trade and after I hit 1:1 I bring my sl to breakeven so that I can survive the market
2
u/Firm-Review-4879 1d ago
Well ur trade history looks good with small losses and good RR but u also have a 1500$ loss on a 5000$
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Yeah, I took that loss after making more profit than I needed, then I went for a bigger risk-reward ratio. I know it was a mistake; I should've just stuck to my plan.

It looks good but bruh 5 lots on XAUUSD is hardcore, how much did you have on that demo account?
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Initially I got the demo account with 10k and I was just testing out and figuring how things work in aap in it but when I saw the prop firm minimum account 5k I changed the demo account to 5000 then traded the next
2
u/EnvironmentalStar712 1d ago
Yeah it’s good to believe in your strategy but trust me even if you get 10-15-20 days in a row in plus trading with 1+ lots on 5k account you will eventually face a red day which most probably would be your end with this lot size.
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
Feedback taken I will be more careful and restrict my lot size
1
u/EnvironmentalStar712 1d ago
Just be aware of the insidious part of the human mind - now you cut losses fast because you don’t give a shit for -10 or even -150 when you make 600-1500 per trade but there are times when swing is so fast that you’re going from -100 to -1500 in a blink of an eye - that’s when it’s hardest to close. It’s too much so you wait hoping for reversal and the hole gets deeper, you finally close on -3000 and can’t live with it so you revenge trade. But now 1000 or 1500 is not enough - you just lost 3000 so you have to make at least 4000-5000 and your targets become ridiculous, market reverses again, hit your SL and so on.

I hope good profits to you, although I cannot see the purpose of the post.
1
u/notkaizen07 1d ago
I would appreciate suggestions and assistance from individuals working in prop firms, as I have no prior experience in this area.
1
u/Spathas1992 1d ago
Sorry, you didn't ask for it in the description. I thought it was just a statement that you buy an account.
