QUESTION Is this allowed?

Post image

I don't think so, but it's a nice decoration.

A guy aiming a gun at someone. That’s so tame

Yeah but epic is pretty picky abt that kind of stuff

are you aware of what game you’re playing

Yeah ik but for some reason they dont like that kinda stuff it's really stupid like there can't be guns pointed at the player in thumbnails and stuff like that

How did you do that? That looks insane!

The mannequin device and item placer… that’s probably how simple it really is. But idk for sure.

I mean a texture card would be way more performant and you wouldn’t even have to relay on shadows being enabled

If it’s a shadow , mostly players on pc wont see it because they use performance mode , that wont render it …. But i love it 👌

shadows also just don’t look great in fortnite

it’s been very normal for even content creators like lachlan or muselk who play on high settings to turn off shadows because they just don’t look good

Shadows don't look good in this game

Competitive players use it to get an advantage, like me

So i only see wins

Can you blame them , fortnite is not much optimised for old pc , most pc players play in performance mode to compete in competitive …. These players can be identified as non grass lover 🍀and also 100 crown wins 🙃

ok if this map is for teens/12+

not ok for 3+

3? There’s maps for 3 year old? I’m sorry who’s the person at epic that let that slide?

It’s like the parkour maps

The whole age rating thing doesn't make sense. The game as a whole is 12+. It is like if a game would mostly be passable for players 7+, but there were a few sections that bumped up the age rating to 12+. That game is now 12+. Not 7+ here and then 12+ there.

Most things in Fortnite are 12+. Doesn't matter that there are things that could pass for 3+, because the game is 12+. Simple as that.

Its epic playing both sides of the fence. It shouldn’t be allowed.

Exactly! I own one of those physical versions of the game with the codes inside that give you some cosmetics. On the front it says 12+. Fortnite can't really change it's age rating from that. It can add stuff that theoretically younger people could experience like LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing, but the game is still 12+. Epic can't say something is 3+, therefore certain items are restricted. That isn't how age ratings work...

I think your Probably good

u/VinEpiC 1d ago

Yes, this is allowed, as long as when publishing you make clear that guns and violence is a part of your game

it’s literally what fortnite is

Just don’t use it in your thumbnail 🔫👍

If you're okay with it getting a teen rating, a friend went through the wringer trying to get their map approved because it used bots, like mannequin style bots but it had to be labeled as realistic gun violence on the questionare, but ymmv.
