Is Anyone Else Frustrated With 3.0?

I'm an amateur, at best, but it seems much harder to do very easy things. Something as simple as linking layers so I can move them together seems to have become much harder to do. I know it could be me, but this update, long in the making, seems to be a step backwards for some functions.

You're making sure to switch the Move tool to "Move selected layers" when moving multiple selected layers?

With the ability to have more than one layer being treated as active, the Move tool picking the layer based on non-transparent pixels you are clicking on - a pretty intuitive behavior in most cases - and throw you off until you get the hang of it.

It was working with no problem before. It's possible that setting changed in the upgrade. I'll have to check. Thank you.

I think that's been my problem. Upgraded, settings got reset on tools I use most. It had been so long since I first set them (years) so it took me a while to find out what settings to change.

I do find the documentation to be oversimplified and broken up into such small pieces it's not very useful for accomplishing stuff and doesn't explain what the various settings actually do. Just how to change them.

But it's free and not stealing our stuff. 🤷‍♀️🙂
