Imagine trying to teach us about parks but having questions about parks that betray a fundamental misunderstanding of how parks get created and interact with the larger urban environment

Interesting topic. I think one thing is that society needs to create more jobs outside of city centers. If we want green space, then we shouldn't have a situation where you have to move to a metropolitan area to work in certain industries. Corporations these days all talk about having a diverse workforce, but diversity shouldn't be limited to meaning "more women and black people", it should be more expansive (i.e. more diverse) and among other things include more geographic diversity.
