Kitchenware Market (plates, appliances, ceramics, pots etc) in Guangzhou?

Hey guys! I’m looking for any markets in Guangzhou that sell kitchenware as in ceramics, plates, drinking glasses, serving-ware, table cloths etc etc.

I have a serving-ware business that I’m starting and I can’t find information about this type of place in Guangzhou. (Visiting at the end of April)

Ps. I did look through first for information about this but I couldn’t find anyone who asked or any information.

Does Haixin Bridge Require Wechat?

As a foreign tourist, can I cross the Haixin bridge (the one that links to the Canton tower)? I heard that you need to register thru wechat, and I'm pretty sure I can't do that as a foreigner.

Looking for cool art museums/galleries in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi everyone this is my first time posting here, I’ll be exploring Haizhu District in Guangzhou today and throughout the week and would love to check out some unique art museums or galleries. I’m interested in anything from contemporary art to traditional Chinese exhibitions, hidden gems, or even trendy spaces with cool installations.

Does anyone have favorites in the area? Bonus points for lesser-known spots or places with great photo ops! Thanks in advance

Any places to see Cherry Blossoms in April in Guangzhou or short day trip away?

Going to be in Guangzhou this month and wondering if there are any spots in Guangzhou or surrounding area that's easy to get to if there's still in season. I know it's weather dependent if they bloom early or late.

US Company looking for Canton Fair Guide for Phase 1 - Manufacturing

My boss will be attending the Canton Fair and arriving April 12th from the US, and we’re looking to connect with reputable suppliers of:

  • Die casting equipment
  • CNC machining
  • Injection molding machines
  • Cutting/trimming solutions
  • Coating services (hard anodization, titanium, etc.)

Since our factory is based in Pakistan, we’d greatly appreciate:
✔ A guide/representative at the fair to help navigate suppliers.
✔ Recommendations for reliable exhibitors in these categories.
✔ Urdu-speaking assistance (a plus, but not mandatory).

With so many vendors, it’s challenging to identify the best options. Could you suggest trustworthy guide or arrange introductions?

Looking forward to your suggestions. Thank you!

How to get to Yangshou?

Hi it will be my first time to go to China and I plan to go from Guangzhou to Yangshou. Should I take the train from GZ to Yangshou station? I read that Yangshou station is very far from Yangshou itself. I also want to visit Xing Ping ancient village. Are there taxis or bus from Yangshou station that can easily take us to Xing Ping and then to Yangshou West Street which is where we booked a hotel? Thanks

Hello, I'll be visiting china and Guangzhou for the first time soon. I'm a tea somm and drank a lot of yancha and Pu-Erh over the last years. So I want to see and drink tea at this big tea fair from 21-25.05.. Is this fair only for wholesalers or is it also possible to buy small amounts? Do I need to show a work certificate or similar stuff to get a ticket? Thank you on advance!

Anonymous gifting in Guangzhou?

大家好! I'm visiting Guangzhou for a couple of days and wanted to bring some gifts/souvenirs for an online friend. Unfortunately they don't live in GZ but rather a city near it. Think like Huizhou, Shenzen, Zhuhai etc

I don't want to ask for their personal information like home address or phone number because I don't want them to feel uncomfortable. Do you think there's a way to send my gifts/souvenirs?

Sorry I know it's a dumb question but I just don't want wanna ask for personal info unless they're willing to. Maybe there are services like they will keep your items and have someone pick them up (my friend)? No idea, looking for your help. Thank you!

I recently got admitted in Southern Medical University, and I’m gonna start studying this September, I want to find some students from this university to ask them about living and studying there, also to ask abt the dormitory to decide if it’s worth it to rent outside of the uni.
