In the end, what WAS the most often repeated story/talking point?
A lot of jokes were made about Jeff repeating stories but I'm nearing the end of my current listen and this time I honestly think I've heard Dan talk about the domestication of dogs and "throwing bad puppies on the fire" more than any other single thing.
But of course that might just be confirmation bias on my part... the imagery is very memorable! I wish I was keeping a tally chart.
No shade being thrown here btw, I couldn't do that many episodes without repeating shit a lot more than Dan, Jeff or anyone else did.

Everything after COVID feels like a fever dream. It's nice to relisten and feel nostalgic for a little while.
Welcome to Harmontown, won't you lick my balls. And after that we can have a little chat while mankind falls. It's said before we're dead, we'll see our species die. Welcome to Harmontown, I'll try not to cry.

This is wild... 12 years later, a cameo of Dan Harmon in S4E2 blew my mind.

I Think I Found the Male Equivalent to “Jolene”
I’ve been thinking about it for a few years now, ever since Dan asked if there was a male equivalent to Jolene.
It’s “Sundown” by Gordon Lightfoot.

Thinking of doing a re-listen, but don’t want to necessarily start from the beginning. What are some good episode runs or starting points to go back to?
I’ve never done a front to back listen. Probably started listening some time in the middle. When I went back to listen to the first episode, I noticed the vibe and structure were different. Curious if there are any ‘mid-season arc’ starting points that people like to return to.

For potential writers, what was Dans first suggestion for a book?
I think it was on an episode featuring Graham Linehan. They talked about Campbell, but Dan said don't start there, start with (I think) Vogel. Does anyone remember specifically what book by Vogel he suggests you start with?

What was the angriest Dan ever got on the podcast?
From memory, I feel like it’s either the “Now You See Me” rant or “down with sighty” where he rants about fascism

Ease the Seedbag
I've listened to HT over and over aga as I'm sure we all have. I also really love rock n roll. Can't hear anything else in Van Halens "Panama" now except "ease the seedbag" 😂

Does Dan talk about politics?
I don’t use twitter or instagram or FB or anything really except Reddit. Is he speaking at all? Just wondering, it was his thing for a minute after all.

D&D eps anywhere still?
Where can I download all (and just) the D&D content?
I can see this question keeps popping up, but all provided links seem to be dead at this point. Help a brother out?
