Merch Help identifying car

My dad had a piece of debris off an old car that wrecked at the Indy 500. I believe it was pre-2000s. I have been having the hardest time placing it. Does anyone have any clue?

Kind of hard to see. Looks a bit like a wing end-plate from a later Lola with the air slots on the left? Can’t tell if it curves in towards the wall on the right side or if it’s flat like an end plate.

Was watching 2017 Watkins Glenn tonight and think it’s rear wing endplate off of a manufacturers aerokit era DW12.
