Terrible Offer / Bad Batch / Bad Pay Rant Would you take this?

No. Over 100 items should be over $100.
That IC is paying under $12 is outrageous. When I first started basic batches under 20 items were $12 base pay. Shame on them.

If it is my go-to store, and nothing heavier than the gallons of milk. Can knock that out in less than an hour.

Only if there was no meat items. I swear those are the worst to shop for 🤣😭

I'd have to check the size of the items. I won't do another order that requires two carts ever again no matter what lol. If I think it wouldn't need two carts, absolutely.

There should be a cap on how many items can be added to an order by a customer. 161 units is OD. That’s one. Two, I’d take this only because it appears to be a promo order so although $11.40 is shit for all this shopping, IC plans on paying the difference if you complete x amount of batches and you get to keep the tips you make on top of whatever that amount is. So yes. But no because I don’t want to put 161 items in my cart 😭😭😭

accepting this order would depend on what time of day, what day it was, and how many of what items are on the order. Gets bonus points for being close to the store, and having a fire tip: it loses points for having the batch pay be so freaking low... thats disappointing; base pay should be around $50 for a shop of this size.
if this is at Costco or The Grocery People its a solid NO.
by the way, why did you leave the store off?? that really helps as a determining factor. For instance if this was at Whole Foods I would likely take it as theres a chnce for the tip to increase after delivery.

Really depends on what some of the items were and how my week has gone. If it’s my main grocery store and I can fit everything in one cart, I would consider it.

I have done something like this before, if it’s an easy story then go for it. might be less than 2 hours so it’s worth!!

My gut says no. I've actually never seen an item number that high before for that many items.

No question. Looks like a school or daycare, most likely. Bunch of duplicate items, easy shop. I’ve done these before.

Same, I have a couple businesses I deliver to that do the bulk dupes. Always bring a cart out for me when I arrive. Virtually no stairs (one has a three step, but it's on one end of a handicap ramp - we just use the ramp!) and they're fairly decent tippers most times.
One is a hospice dispatch office and the other is a small manufacturer office.

It’s all one customer, so at least you wouldn’t have to try n keep things separated by groups. That shit is a nightmare to deal with.

I would but I would let the people at the front know how big of an order I have so that I can store carts when they fill up and give them a heads up when I’m about to check out.
Especially, if it’s at my favorite store to shop because I know where everything is and the people there all know and seem to like me so they would go the extra step to make sure I got it all check out timely.

No. That’s way too much work for the pay. That is definitely two carts if not three depending on the size of the items.
Mileage is ok and at least it’s a single customer but the pay is way too low, that needs to be $80 plus for me to accept.

Yes. I'd immediately grab 2 carts though, those cereal boxes take up a lot of real estate. But one order, short distance, bulk duplicates - easy $50 in an hour or less for me.

I wouldn’t only because people pull tips. Does Instacart cover your tips if someone does that?
I will preface this by saying the only times I’ve pulled a tip is if the shopper went above and beyond to do a lousy job etc. If you’re stupid enough to put berries under heavy cans, well consider the tip gone.

i did something very similar once when i was desperate to make rent. the shop actually wasn’t that bad and they ended up tipping me an extra $100

No. Primarily because that majority is tip and not base pay. If they tip baited I’d be pissed

Id have to scroll thru the items and make sure it would all fit in 1 cart then click accept. Otherwise no.
