Rick Scott (GOP senator from Florida) wants AOC arrested for educating people about their constitutional rights. This new administration will do everything they can to gut the first amendment.

Senator Rick Scott has suggested that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may have violated the law by hosting a webinar aimed at informing undocumented immigrants about their rights when dealing with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. The webinar, organized by Ocasio-Cortez’s office, featured immigrant rights advocates who discussed ICE tactics and advised migrants on how to avoid detention, including early morning and public place raids, and the importance of judicial warrants.  

Scott commented that it “sure seemed” as though Ocasio-Cortez was violating the law with this webinar. He expressed hope that if she had done something wrong, former ICE Director Tom Homan, now serving as the border czar, would prosecute her to the full extent of the law.  

Homan criticized the webinar, suggesting it might impede law enforcement efforts and indicated he had contacted the Justice Department for guidance on the matter. Ocasio-Cortez defended the webinar as civil education, highlighting that unauthorized presence in the U.S. is a civil, not criminal, offense. 

As of now, there is no indication that formal legal action has been initiated against Ocasio-Cortez regarding this matter. (chatgpt)
