Academics PhD program

out of curiosity… is the psyc department finished with reviewing and picking students for the phd program? My application is still stuck in “department requirement review”

I seen a lot of undergrads posting the same question so I don't know if it's administration or department. I'm in engineering and know there are faculty hiring freezes and students are saying we are getting less incoming grad students since we are unsure if we have funding to support them but that's on the engineering side of things.
