Reducing or eliminating reliance on monopolies
Does anyone know if it's even worth it to get away from Google? For example I have a Samsung that already has Google features downloaded on it. I have Gmail. I use chrome. If we can reduce or eliminate our reliance on these types of corporations, maybe we can make a change? But then its so widespread and used in almost everything we do that it seems impossible. I'm not about trying to make my life harder just to be the one person "sticking it to the man". Thoughts?
