When people dont actually have anything interesting about themselves they will sometimes just make up traits to try to fake it. When doing this its smart to pick something lots of other people pick. For some people its pretending to have an opinion on font or pretending to be upset people from the USA are called Americans. A common one is being pro meat and if you are pro meat naturally yo have to be against not eating meat because its less fun without a conflict

People with no personality or identity shop for readymade personalities/identities because it’s easier than forming their own.

It’s become much more common than it used to be thanks to social media.
