Discussion New rank format
I know this is in the patch note but watching it plays out for the first time is interesting. The fact that this is BO5 now is super rewarding for deep rotation and reduce random lost due to bad luck. But that would also mean people with only 1 or 2 good starters gonna be in trouble because they can’t rely on random to give them the good starter and get a win anymore. For me who has 1 last slot still not a team sign/legend, this probably would greatly reduce the lost I have when the game gives me my worst starter.

Card Brag Pack full of sluggers!
Beautiful Judge '22 there, but I have his sig '24 already. I was hoping for Posada, Stanley, Giambi or Tino, because my team is only missing a sig C and 1B (batters)

Discussion PVP Rant
PVP could be a fun game mode, but it’s totally broken. It rewards nothing other than guessing. Put SPOT and STS on a card and throw the bat head into the zone as early as possible.
Perfect timing means nothing in this game. You can connect perfect timing with a pitch over the heart of the plate and it’s a weak groundout to 3rd. Yet, if you get the bat head out with extremely early or late timing on a pitch painting the corner it’s a HR. There’s no rhyme or reason to perfect timing success in all manual play game modes IMO.
I know everybody is going to say it’s a sim game, but that’s not an excuse. If Com2 is going to attach high star values to a manual game mode, they should make sure their manual play mechanics aren’t totally broken.

Advice Best Skills?
I don’t know much about skills. Which ones should I try to get on this guy?

Discussion Why Does Chapman Get a Prime?
Just confused why they’d give Chapman a prime for his Pirates tenure. He wasn’t very good and definitely not deserving of a prime.

Discussion My vow against the Braves
This is my public vow to never go with the Braves in Pick 'em. I broke a promise to myself today after I told myself to not pick them after they previously killed my streak against the padres

Discussion Twins
Proud of my Twins team that I've built so far (no money spent). Happy to finally have my Kirby, even though he may never start. Also, who's happy with the game update? I am impressed with the crowd graphics and animations, after years of looking at the 2d "cards" filling the stands.

Discussion New Pack Odds
Would it be insane to switch the RNG from percentage base odds, to pack odds? I understand the game does that sometimes but I think including that in pack info would be easier for a user to understand. I also think including League mode the drop should be out of how many gift boxes rather than %’s that are ridiculous to calculate. Not to support addiction, but knowing packing odds when purchasing or opening would be satisfying as well as more rewarding if you land something crazy.

Advice Should I switch teams?
I'm pretty new to the game and not sure on some of the concepts and more importantly the chances of certain cards, etc. I got a sig SF M. Yastztremski '21 from a premium pack that the companion site said is best for the position on that team. So should I switch to a Giants team or stick with Dodgers? I don't have any Dodger sigs, but do have 03 Gagne, Muncy on 1B that's his best year, and a Diamond Prime Grandal '18.
I guess my main question is are sigs rare enough (light light spender) to justify totally changing my focus?
