I believe Joe GENUINELY wanted to do good by America even after all of the racist stuff he did as a senator.
He, after all, was still a patriot and an American. Can't say the same about MAGA or Trump.
Life is a gray scale, not black and white. But Joe did what he could to keep the status quo of the government as it has been for decades.
