How does America or even Russia doing it too make it less bad that Ukraine is doing it? Stop the whataboutism.

Conscription is the price of sovereign citizenship.

I, personally, would be utterly ecstatic with a global agreement of peace. I would breathe a grateful sigh of relief to know that no one, ever, would be expected to "die for their country." The ridiculousness of it is intuitively obvious, yes?

Yet, here we are.

Why is it only the price for men if everyone has sovereign citizenship? Do you believe it should be a price that both men and women have (as in, by law rather than being given the option to volunteer) to pay?

Yes, I do. Of course, I volunteered for military service, so I may be a bit biased.

To clarify, you believe you shouldn’t even have had the option to ‘volunteer’ for it because it should have been mandatory, right?

If so, then at least you’re consistent. Either no one should be forced or everyone should be if they enjoy sovereign citizenship.
