So why is it only the case that men have to pay for these rights with conscription?

I cant speak for ukraine in this case but im guessing they deem women unfit to fight, or they are expected to serve the country in some other way such as caring for the wounded, serving food or continuing keeping the civilian structure holding up. I dont know

My country conscripts any ablebodied soldier regardless of gender, but in the end the military isnt an inclusivity party. The country calls those they consider the best fit to defend their country and only that country can answer to why.

As far as I’m aware, pretty early on when the war started, all the Ukrainian males aged between 18 and 60 something were forbidden by law from leaving the country while everyone else had the option of staying or leaving. Which duty do you think the women are being held to by law?

Again, why is it only the men who are legally required to pay in order to ‘take advantage of their rights’?

I stand by my previous answer, i cant speak for ukraine. We can guess but that doesnt do anyone any good. But sitting in a comfortable, peaceful life and criticise conscription in a country defending its sovreignity is ridiculous
