I think his first wife, whom he abandoned with a sick child when he reached the height of his success, would not agree much with this "gentlemanly" statement.

Give me some context. I am probably too dumb to search the internet right now but it seems rather tame coming to divorces and family trouble?

Their son has health issues and when his current wife gave birth he thanked her for giving him a healthy baby.

Copied from another comment but that's what happened. He tried clarify that he didn't mean it as an insult to his first wife but it was too late.

I thought his son is healthy? Was born premature but was well by the time they divorced

The Internet got mad because when his next child was born he made a post about being thankful for a healthy baby.

The Internet took it as an attack on his first child, who wasn't healthy.

Yeah but the internet took it as an insult to his ex-wife. It's not about the son it's about disrespecting women.
