Help I'm crying at work now and I knew what was coming all along. I started getting teary eyed when the dog's eyes started to look less bright

That was me too. You could see her slowing down, bit by bit. But she was so sweet, to the very end!

Now I miss my ferrets. A lot.

At least you weren't as stupid as me to watch it at work and sob while at work in front of a window overlooking an entire building

If your coworkers or boss ask, show them the video. You'll all be sharing a box of tissues.

I don't know a lot of them take joy in crapping on animals, especially dogs. πŸ’€

It’s hard but I wouldn’t choose any other field of work. The ones that break me are when the owner cant bear to stay with them at the end(no judgment, it’s just hard to see) and the animal starts looking for them :( unfortunately these past months have been a lot of long term clients coming in for euthanasias

Oh god the long term clients coming in must be incredibly painful too. It's incredibly brave that you choose to stay in the field and I'm sure the babies are glad to have you in their final moments. I'm incredibly proud of you

Thank you, I love all the babies that come in and it’s always a pleasure to get to watch them grow up as they come in. I work for a more lower cost than a lot of the other clinics in the area so we get a lot of people on their last efforts to find affordable care for their pets. It’s a hard but very rewarding job. Makes it a lot more frustrating when we get accused of being money hungry though

What a wonderful dog and a beautiful memory and a child will never forget that dog. Absolutely outstanding, Well done, parents.

Kids that get to love an animal and learn about death this way makes them lucky. I got lucky. RIP Sitka and Tiger.

Lol the typo threw me off. My eyes happen to be watery so I missed the "t" standing by itself.

It’s hard to type with tears in your eyes! 😭
