Yep ā¤ļø imagine the fact that Ian thought his childhood role model was dead all these years. Likely regretted not reaching out to him sooner, mourning him, wishing he can thank him one last time. And then in he walks.

Something similar happened to me recently. I was told my childhood fave teacher who had an incredible impact on me had passed. I got my company to donate to the scholarship fund that was set up in her name. Lo and behold we received a thank you note from her. Turns out she just retired lol. It was great to catch up with her.
