Yeah lose the open carry knife. Appearances are everything and makes you seem unhinged and unstable. Plenty of quick access knives - if it truly is for safety will give you benefit of doubt - that will do the job.

But why have a box cutter in his pocket when he could strap a buck knife to his leg for everyone to see?

He has a pocket knife with the clip on his left side

Legend say's he even carries a grenade launcher, where the prisoners of war hid their watches.

But how can he trigger the libs while at work without cosplaying as Crocodile Dundee?

Edit: All in good fun. I'm sure OP's a cool dude who just happens to really like that knife.

I deliver pizza and I have a nice flipper pocket knife I carry at all times. Way less obnoxious and way more practical than whatever this kid thinks he’s doing with that fixed blade

Boot knifes are probably the best hidden knife you can keep

I appreciate this comment a ton, because you're givin him legitimate criticism. Some of the other upvoted comments just make me real sad.

I always let myself get disappointed by the lack of nuance :( but preciate thoughtful posts like yours

Wanting to be a manager is unhinged behavior already. Hopefully he grows out if it.
