Question 1st year expenses

so i'm like 99% gonna go to mac starting sept (yay!) and I js wanted to get an overview of the cost of first year. i'm going into general eng, probably gonna stay in a double room for res (hopefully at pgcll), and obvi getting the meal plan. ik the cost is diff for everyone but if ppl are okay with commenting their like approx cost for first year, i would rlly appreciate it. i js wanna prepare myself to see how much it is😭

Rez is very expensive. Living off campus is definitely cheaper!

Res - 10k, meal plan - 5k, tuition - 10k, student fees - 1.5k

25k is minimum spend (bare minimum living on campus with full course load and meal plan)

budget for like 27k-28.5k for an average budget for someone not looking to spend too much on much extra

years after that you can probably get away with 25k a year

its much cheaper to live off campus. theres student housing 5-10 mins away
