it's pretty sad, lmao. i think the souls community is the only other one i've seen so afraid of criticism.

Yeah, souls is up there. It's another community I'm in. I think the cringiest aspect is the belief that From Software invented everything. Like souls games are the first game to have any difficulty or something. It's the worst when I see someone play another game, get their ass beat, and then blame "artificial difficulty."

Lol, actually, as I write this, I remembered watching some Souls youtubers play MH World when it came out. Not the guys like Cowboy and Rurikhan, obviously. But Rehvion never learned how to sharpen his weapon. He just kept bouncing his wepaon off of Anjanath or some shit and then gave up. And Prod literally just had his team carry him through everything.

Disagreeing with criticism != "afraid" of criticism.

If you can make a critique, you should be able to handle criticism of your critique.
