i'm genuinely too autistic to watch those movies, the robots have way too many moving parts and it's a bit like looking at a fucked up AI generated image but in motion, like you can't quite tell where things begin and end. i cannot tell for the life of me what the fuck is even going on.

I've always admired the work put into each transformer model. They do get to be fusterclucks...but (especially with the Bumblebee movie) their works of art.

Yh its just metal puke all over the screen and they spam transformations all of the time so idk what is even going on .

I'd watch third and fourth just for the cool parts, those two were a lot more clearer on the fights since they dont spend half of the time showing off the transformations

I think it's more of a comment on how poor the finished product is. Not who it's based on. If I do a shitty drawing of Charles Martinet as Mario, it's still a shitty drawing, no matter how good a voice actor he is. And it's ok to say it's a shitty drawing.

The previous live action primes were modeled after Peter Cullen too and its better than this. Its just that the animation studio that did this bit more than they can chew. To the point thay they have to hire another studio animation team that did the cgi for endgame. The previous animation team is called ILM. I forgot who did the animations for rise of the beast

By the way idk if you know this but Transformers has a Monster Hunter Collab with an Optimus Prime like character who transforms into a Rathalos. It has I believe a Switch Axe to parallel Optimus’ signature battle axe. I believe it’s not out yet but later this year. Check Hasbro Pulse.
