Ever since I watched Signs as an 11-year old I've had a healthy alien-phobia that makes watching alien movies my favorite genre, particularly abduction or alien-contact movies.

My all time favorite is Dark Skies. I also like signs, the fourth kind, no one will save you, Independence Day 1 & 2, arrival.

What are your suggestions?

I’m going to hangout with a girl in about an hour and a half and we both love disturbing and or creepy as fuck movies. I’m talking movies that leave you questioning if the movie was fictional at all. Or even fictional horror movies that are disturbing or eerie. Any horror movie is welcome! please let me know! Preferably on Amazon prime aswell

I need movies that will make me hiccup cry, I feel like movies are subjective and it really just depends what you find sad. I just want movies that will leave me crying for hours or just even leaving me feeling absolutely miserable😭 personally the only movie I’ve cried to like that is The Whale! So please lmk!!

Going through a bit of a rough patch in my marriage and just looking for some series that don’t really have a romantic aspect that I can watch to try to distract myself. Please suggest good movies or some short fast paced mini series or tv shows (Not slow paced like breaking bad. Great show tho.) To name some random obvious ones I liked Inception, Normal people (series), shutter island, Interstellar, Atonment, Pride and prejudice.

The nature of the apocalypse doesn't matter, so long as it's clear that the writers did their homework. I want something where a lot of thought has gone into shelter, fire, finding and purifying water, obtaining food, etc. I'm turned off by shows like TWD that leave huge plot holes in terms of logistics and never addresses it. It's more immersive to me when the actual basic survival is given a lot of attention

Hello everyone, I love watching movies of all genres but I’m only well-versed in more recent decades. I have a bit of a cinematic blind-spot for these 3 decades and wondered if you could make some suggestions. Don’t need the big franchise stuff (think Star Wars, Jaws, etc) but more standalone flicks. I realize it’s a lot to suggest 30 films, but I’d appreciate anyone who feels up to it.
