At least a drug dealer actually gives you the drugs after you pay

The ones that dont risk their safety. The natural order of things. It’s no tragedy

Shit, its a riskier job than most think. Kid i went to school with got murdered over like 20 bucks worth of drugs because the murderer was short on cash

I'm willing to wager that most people don't think being a drug dealer is at all safe or not risky

Depends on your ambitions. You can run a small scale operation with somewhat low risk, especially if you're on good foot with the local gangs.

Oh yeah, business agreements with gangbangers are always honored with integrity.

There is no agreement, they just don't murder you

The Friends we Made along the way

Still better than most insurance companies and Eli Lilly.

What agreement?

1

u/ProjectEpsilon1 Dec 19 '24

The agreement that you have the drugs and they don’t

1

u/Fearless_Hunter_7446 Dec 19 '24

Why would they not have drugs? 🤷

2

u/Juxtapoe Dec 20 '24

They offload those for cash as fast as possible. Always a new batch on the way.

...or so I've heard.

Fair enough 😂

lol 'with local gangs'...I literally had 'this job', it didn't start getting sketchy until harder stuff worth money was involved but never, ever, was gangs ever involved. Even in the major citiies here it's more 'friend cliques' then gangs. Everyone's pretty much independent, the 'big boys' only have a hand in wholesale and really exert no power over the trade beyond that.

You're far more likely to get robbed/assaulted/killed by one of your clientele jonesing then rival drug dealers.

It’s very common to have a “No murder clause” in the agreement

It was sarcasm dude

But nobody answered my question: do they have a sunshine club, summer hours or Hawaiian shirt day at the office?

You know what....you would be real surprised.

3

u/Armi-of-s8n Dec 17 '24

Are you speaking on personal experience or out of your ass?

3

u/Fearless_Hunter_7446 Dec 17 '24

Personal

2

u/Armi-of-s8n Dec 17 '24

What do you consider “somewhat low risk” then?

2

u/Fearless_Hunter_7446 Dec 17 '24

Unlikely to get pinched or killed.

Yeah that’s what we thought before someone invaded the grow and shit went down… many years ago

2

u/humanredditor45 Dec 17 '24

I read that last part as “if you’re good on foot” lmao

2

u/Fearless_Hunter_7446 Dec 17 '24

That helps aswell

1

u/invaderaleks Dec 19 '24

Heard too many stories from former dealers about how they were getting big, and one of their "friends" ratted 'em out.

1

u/Fearless_Hunter_7446 Dec 19 '24

That's why you run a small scale operation solo and don't fucking brag about it. The need for clout takes out so many people lol.

1

u/invaderaleks Dec 19 '24

I also wouldn't stay in the game too long either. Just save up your money and get out. Or flip your hustle.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '24

Nah. The only contact with gangs would be through the supplier, and they're usually gang adjacent at most. The majority of dealers are selling to make a couple bucks and get their own shit for free

Dumbest shit i ever heard. You don't need a corner no more. You can run an operation from your apartment these days. No need to ever hit the streets.
