Eh. It's a reasonable guess at this point. This is literally the first time I've made that guess and been wrong, compared to dozens of instances where I wasn't. Half the front page of reddit is fake tweets taken at face value.
Not to mention the article that links the tweet shows Trump clarifying what he meant, and it's something we actually all agree with: There should be more prosecutions.
You mean it's the first time anyone has bothered to show you that you are wrong.
The thing you need to understand is that anyone who is not you, knows how incurably brainwashed you are and how pointless it is to interact with you about anything that you are conditioned to do.
O and since you are jumping on the; well, what he meant was, angle answer Why He did Nothing to help this issue while he was president?
Have you ever actually looked into trump or do you just listed to his fanboys like a good little fanboy?
Talk about being brainwashed. You think anyone who points out misinformation has to be a fan of his.
No, when I'm wrong, people will tell me. Like they did here. Always. People love telling others they're wrong.
Why did he nothing to help the issue? He forgot about it seconds after making that tweet, let alone years later when he was president. He's an idiot who only thinks about himself. What do you think?
Oh no did I break your bubble pointing out I'm as much against the guy as you are? Someone who is against Trump but also isn't in support of fake tweets of the guy making the rounds? How can that be??
a fair point, but the misinformation in this case is only a matter of how people define rape. If you want to be strict about the definition than it doesnt' matter that the judge who convicted trump of sexual assault said trump is a rapist, and if you don't think forcing yourself inside another person is rape if it isn't a penis (does this mean no man has ever been raped by a woman?), then no, trump was not convicted of rape. In this case if matters more than most because the trumpcultists will argue semantics all day to avoid having to deal with the morals of their mangod.
There is plenty of bs on both sides so yea, I kind of lumped you into the category of right wing nut job. The country is full of red and blue cultists to the point I get lazy sometimes and just figure if they are talking about politics or political figures they are probably a cultist.
Hey, props to you for not escalating things. And my bad for being so sarcastic.
I'm not here to defend the guy on the whole rape thing. There's the legal definition which was not met, and the very obvious (to anyone with some sensibilities) fact that, yes, he at the very least sexually assaulted people. And openly bragged about it. We have that on tape. There's no defending there.
But this tweet, for instance, was from 2013, and he later clarified that he was talking about wanting more investigations, not fewer. He's just, y'know, extremely bad in conveying his thoughts.
I think we have way better points to criticize him for than a 2013 tweet that was at least meant well.
LoL, no worries, it's a weird world we live in, and I am also willing to admit when I make a mistake.
It is a little weird they are pulling things from so long ago, though I still bring up his relationship with epstien and the joint lawsuit from Decades ago (but that one is an instant disqualifier for me... I don't know how anyone ever gets past that and decides to ignore it.), but there are so many legitimately horrible things to hold against him that it does bother me a little too when people focus on weak things like this.
I sometimes wonder if things like this are just to saturate online with so many things that are grey and defensible that you can't focus on the more damning things. Like the covfefe thing; that was all over social media and regular media for weeks instead of anything that mattered...
