Pharmacies are perfectly reasonable places to sell sex toys. They're sold in mainstream health shops here, as well as supermarkets and Poundland. Nobody cares at all.
When I was a kid, I would go into video stores, and I would see the 18+ section behind the curtains, but I didn’t even have the context to comprehend what I was looking at.
