That's the worst part of politics for me. And both sides do it. They play off the uneducated parts of their base that gets emotional to get votes knowing the whole time they are lying. Most politicians are not actually dumb, they just have zero morals and take advantage of people base instincts for tribalism.
One side tried to make more medications more affordable with price caps. The other abolished existing price caps already, has a concept of a plan, is removing disability support services, is helping to remove people with various conditions from their fairly earned jobs, and is anti vaccine.
Honestly I get the sentiment but this current "left" shat on Bernie to begin with so it seems kind of funny to see dude getting downvoted to hell on a post about Bernie's point of view.
The current dems don't support Bernie so it's easy for me to say fuck yes both sides are fucking stupid.
Bernie is a representative of one of these parties. They didn’t support him for the top job, but he’s there at all. Which he wouldn’t be in the republicans.
It’s like seeing one person that can’t spell dog, and another that can’t spell bourgeoisie and saying both of them can’t spell.
Does he represent them tho? He represents his views is what I see and they sound good so the dems are happy to use them as theirs.
Just a regular day in politics. Bernie is a sellout too tho I am sure, tho you have to be in this "2 party system" since being in a 3rd party doesn't seem to be what any republican or democrat want to do..
No thanks. I'm not here to debate politics. Especially when reddit has notoriously one-sided in political views.
I am an independent, and i think the two party system is horrible for the country. being harassed by strangers online isn't going to change my views on that. Save your breath.
Yes the system sucks and so does the two party system. You still can’t two side this. Don’t want to debate politics? Then don’t. I’m replying to your statement not the other way around.
You literally responded to a comment about one side saying ‘and both sides do it’ before listing about how both sides do things in such a way that didn’t differentiate between the severity.
Uh huh, you come into a discussion that specifically references one Republican rep and one Democrat rep, you reply to a specific comment about those politics, you reference ‘both sides’ which is specific to us politics not politics universally, and then you pull the old ‘the problem is with your comprehension of me not with how I’ve said things’. Righto.

On Fox it's easy to say. On the world's stage they know how stupid they sound. These people must be remembered by the stupid things they say and do.
