Because you can't force someone into a "right", medicare for all for example. Sounds great on paper, but that's it.

He only does that now because he's shown he's a shill for big pharma.

lol, you're already "forced" into tons of rights. Defense, infrastructure, fire brigades, police etc. It also works in other countries, so it is much more than just on paper.

You do know that pharma is making way more money on the current system, right? If he was a shill for big pharma, then he wouldn't be for medicare for all.
