She is a moron in not understanding the difference but I do agree DC should be changed. Columbus was a terrible person who killed tens of thousands, enslaved thousands, stole land from these same native American and Hispanic island natives and all to claim their gold and land he thought had gold on it so that he could be famous in the eyes of the royalty of Spain. He should not have a name in our capital.
