he is still more successful than 99% of America and if he was even a little smart with his money, he'll be set for life.

I think the word you are looking for is wealthy. Success is not defined by money.

The dude was a starting QB in the NFL. That’s pretty fucking successful for a football player

If Chad Henne can do it, damn it, so can all of us.

How dare you dunk on the GOAT!

That’s the definition of success for most Americans too lmao

I mean... it’s an incredibly difficult goal to achieve. Not sure if you’re going for America bad or sportsball bad or both, but this isn’t a great way to go about either of those circlejerks.

Yeah, for like five fucking minutes.

Which is still in the top 0.1% of humans who will ever play football in their lives.

What have you done in your life you can say you were one of the 32 best people in the world at?

What have you done? You don't know me or how many NFL teams I've talked to.

And lets be real, basically any 21st century Washington starter is well below 32nd best QB.

I’m not as successful in my field as RG was in his.

And okay? He’s still more successful than most football player by playing college, even more so by being D1, even more so by being drafted, even more so by being drafted highly, ans even more so again by starting.

Stop hating on a guy. He maybe wasn’t a NFL success but overall he’s massively successful

Fuckin goon

The only way to be more successful than that as a player (without getting into coaching, etc) is to play for a long career.

The number of people who have done that as a QB, despite the NFL being over 100 years old, is still a two or three digit number.

So, sure. He's less successful than a small handful of people.

In relation to his peers he was still a starting QB whereas most QBs in the NFL never start or never even get off a practice roster. Hes not successful compared to the best QBs in the league but that’s such a weird bar to hold on a guy. You’re essentially saying 75% of nfl players aren’t successful

He’s the 208th best quarterback to ever live.

He’s incredibly successful

He’s better than 99.9% of the world. I’d say that’s successful

The entire conversation started about him being successful vs the rest of America.

You’ve skewed it into a comparison to the elite of the elite and saying he’s not successful because he’s “only” in the top 20% of the top 1% of football players.

Completely different arguments
