Hexblast can only be detonated when the curse has 50% or less duration remaining.

Goodbye Hexblast, I hardly knew ye. What a worthless skill now.

Is there a viable single target chaos spell? I want to do a lich chaos caster but can't see how I would make it work on ST

Essence Drain, but its gonna be shit till you take boom node

It help with clear, you run blasphemy and despair so the first enemy killed by ED it will pop the whole pack.

Still clunky than the old blasphemy+hexblast tho, its only 33% it will feel like shit

Essence Drain + Contagion clear quicker/faster and spread outside of the pop range. The Ascendancy Node only works WITHIN 4m of you. Curse or not.
So the only way this is useful with ED is if you 1. don‘t use Contagion and 2. Run into packs first

Gotta play Soulrend then eventually. Only option left then.
Also, with all their Focus on „combo“ play style I doubt that you‘ll really find room in poe2 for „1-button builds“.
Maybe with RF but I somehow doubt they will allow an Idle Walking Simulator to exist
