Discussion Found a tool that makes contacting reps easier—anyone tried something like this?
I recently stumbled across this site called MailYourVoice.com that lets you send physical letters to your representatives for a small fee. It seems like a cool way to make your voice heard without the hassle of tracking down addresses or buying stamps. Has anyone used it or something similar? Curious if it’s worth it or if there are better ways to stay active in political outreach!

Article Doge’s attack on social security causing ‘complete, utter chaos’, staff says
"Office closures, staffing and service cuts, and policy changes at the Social Security Administration (SSA) have caused “complete, utter chaos” and are threatening to send the agency into a “death spiral”, according to workers at the agency.
The SSA operates the largest government program in the US, administering social insurance programs, including retirement, disability and survivor benefits.
An average of almost 69 million Americans per month will receive a social security benefit in 2025, totaling about $1.6tn in benefits paid during the year and accounting for 22% of the federal budget. While expensive and challenged by an ageing population, social security remains overwhelmingly popular with Americans. But the agency has been dubbed a “Ponzi scheme” by Elon Musk, the billionaire whose so-called “department of government efficiency” (Doge) is currently slashing its staff and budgets."

Discussion Hands Off Michael Moore post
Hoping that our politicians and those who can effect change notice how many Americans were out there 4/5, and have the courage to stand up and fight what is happening. These protests are a piece in stopping this, but they are definitely not the solution to our problems: key is coalition building to take collective action. Let's do this!

Bernie Sanders New Economist/YouGov 2028 Dem. Pres. primary poll includes Bernie Sanders and the detailed poll concludes that AOC is already in a strong position for 2028 given around 30% don't know enough about her. Harris is coasting on name recognition, AOC is ahead of Walz and would beat Pete in the primary.
To begin, the recent Morning Consult poll seems a press release, as it doesn't even when the 2028 Democratic Presidential primary polling was done.
Secondly, The Economist/YouGov according to this: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/polls/donald-trump-approval-rating-polls.html seems to slightly oversample conservatives.
But this The Economist/YouGov poll (econTabReport_Uo7FRzc.pdf) is important because of the details.
Remember that in the 2020 Democratic Presidential primary, US Senator Elizabeth Warren was in the lead and on her way to becoming POTUS. Until she moved to the Right on Medicare For All.
Much of the Mainstream Media and the elite media already seem to support AOC for a POTUS 2028 run or at least aren't averse to it.
AOC is already considered by many the de facto leader of the Democratic Party.
Pete Buttigieg aside from his mayoral time and his time as US Transportation Secretary will also have to answer for being out of elected politics for 4 years for no good reason instead of running for Governor of Michigan or Michigan US Senator.
If VPOTUS Kamala Harris doesn't run for Governor of California in 2026 and win and do good as Governor, she'll have to answer for being out of elected politics for 4 years for no good reason.
These times are these times and it's certainly not being a fighter if you decide to not have actual power for 4 years.
A campaign would just have to remind people of the 2024 Veep debate to sink Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
So far, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is barely registering in 2028 Presidential polling.
Mark Cuban? Mayor Michael Bloomberg was easily ousted out of the 2020 race. And at least he was a 3-term mayor of New York City and was a major Democratic donor.
A campaign would just need to remind people of what Mark Cuban was saying about corporate regulation, Lina Khan, etc. in 2024 to sink him.
AOC's numbers and standing are already great and she has never ran for POTUS. Probably around 6-10% or less don't know enough about VPOTUS Kamala Harris. That number is probably around 30-32% for AOC.
Governor Tim Walz? Compare his social media numbers, his rally sizes, etc. to AOC's and US Senator Bernie Sanders's.
Pete Buttigieg ran for POTUS in 2020 and was the US Secretary of Transportation for 4 years. Yet more people know AOC. Pete has possibly hit his ceiling.
And AOC is already actually beating California Governor Gavin Newsom.
And if US Senator Bernie Sanders endorses AOC? His supporters go to her.

Discussion Europe big problem
Migration caused big problems in my country because of European law that makes European countries pay 20 thousand for every migrant that entry in denied. My country is small about 10M and in very little time we got an extra million that we don’t have infrastructure to take there’s not enough housing for everyone, rents just doubled quickly and the state houses now are mostly to refugees/ migrants that get house and money for surviving while tax payer workers can’t afford rent anymore as the prices are higher that wages … also we have more crime specially gang rape that just happend a case in every 10 years now we have more than one a month and they allways say on the news the suspects are not locals, we had a case recently that a migrant try to rape a 14 year old next to the school she escaped, the police coughed him and then let him go next day , so he felling unpunished next day invaded a house with a knife with 2 kids and the mother in the house And this is all over Europe.. so the solution is not accept that many migrants because we destroying our countrys doing so Still our leaders keep saying we need more immigrants, and all speech is considered hate speech to shutting us down...
