Another case of the accusation being a confession. Every president uses the autopen. He’s saying Biden was using it because he knows he used it the term before. Who cares. I can buy a stamp of my signature and it’s legally legit. If they know they autopen is being used, it’s legally fine

It’s a a machine that they use to sign their signatures, especially when they have a ton of things they need to sign. Like, years ago I wrote a letter to President Obama. He sent me a reply with a real ink signature. But he most likely didn’t physically sign it, he used an autopen machine

It’s a pen that writes really fast. Then there’s the semi-auto pen which is like a regular pen but it also has a switch to write quickly in short bursts.

Like when you just need to sign 3 documents in quick succession vs when you need to unload a full ink cartridge on a room full of documents?

Think of it like a 3D printer/CNC machine that’s holding a pen. So it can sign the exact signature of a person without them having to physically sign it.

It’s legally fine, as long as you know it’s being done with your signature. It’s no different than using a digital signature.
