I refuse to believe that's not the hope for at least some folks. Then there is an excuse of obvious danger to these arrests that require more force and carte blanche to protect our brave ICE agents.
The alternative being we stand down? It really seems like the average enforcer would prefer less headache, even if they are fully ideologically aligned.
God no. I think if we see a bunch of masked people try to drag someone into an unmarked van we should swarm them like ants. I'm saying that the way thing are going down seems almost engineered to cause conflict.
How do we encourage such behavior? Is leading the charge sufficient? I want to be part of a swarm, but outside I'm feeling more and more like a lone ant in a sea of grasshoppers...
I joined a swarm today, but something was not right. Or at least, was not as I expected. There were significantly more geriatric people than anticipated. Easily the majority of people there were boomers, the the remainder almost entirely gen X.
On one hand, I think it helps dispel the notion that it's all violent leftists looking for a fight, which is great for credibility, but on the other hand, where is everybody our age? It was after work, after school. We've been talking big on reddit, but I only clocked a single potential other redditor there. We need to activate. Otherwise, we're the ones hurting credibility.
Anyway, the public seemed supportive. It's a good energy out there. People don't want fascism.
There will be fatalities on both sides in that instance. The family of the victim will sue, and it'll be quietly settled out of court, so no one hears about it. The families of the unmarked ICE agents will get notified and that's it.

what’s gonna happen when they target someone who is legal, who is lawfully carrying a concealed weapon and uses it to defend themselves?
