Does the GLP1 patches work?

I plan on going next week for my first visit to see about weightloss medication. I managed to lose 90lbs on my own, but gained 11lbs back. I've been struggling since the holidays to kick my weightloss back in gear. I've came to the realization that I need some help with the remaining weight, about 25-30lbs. My question is, should I get the patches (which are cheaper) or the shot? I'm willing to pay more money if the shot is more effective. However, if the patches do work, I'd pay the same for a 30 day supply as I would for 1 week of the shot. Any suggestions?

GLP-1 topically? Total scam. GLP-1 is always injected subcutaneously (meaning below the skin, in the body fat).

I looked into all forms of GLP1 before I started. Topically, it isn't GLP1, just just a scam. Your options are really injections or pills. Pills are daily and have a much lower success rate. But it seems if you can solve how to ensure your stomach is 100% empty before you take it and wait 30mins before you eat/drink anything - you've got a chance, they work.

Injections are the most sure thing out there. But you need to inject yourself

Thanks for the response. That's kinda a bummer about the patches 😕  I'm thinking that I'm going to try for the shot. Luckily the place I'm going does have good pricing on the injections. I'm just hoping I'll be able to get them at my weight and it will work for me.
