If you come here attempting to claim Slender Man is real or at fault for real cases, you will be banned (DOES NOT APPLY TO STORIES/ARG POSTS)
This will not apply to short stories obviously written from the perspective of a character who knows about Slender Man or ARGs and videos and the like. Obviously those are corner stones of the mythos.
This applies to people making posts or comments that essentially boil down to "I believe Slender Man is real" or that he's responsible for real cases. Just now I had to remove a post claiming he may be responsible for missing persons cases across America, and the other day someone posted a Spanish news article with a frame of a video showing a woman right before she leaped off a building that said a shadow in the back may have been Slender Man.
Let me make this clear: Slender Man is a fictional character. He has a known creator and is copyrighted. He is the intellectual property of a human being.
If you have trouble understanding this, there are two options. The first is you are a child who should not be on here, let alone using the internet unmonitored. The second is that you have some sort of mental health issue going on leaving you unable to seperate fiction from reality and you are not fit to be engaging with the content posted here. In both cases, for your own good, you should not be using this subreddit.
Considering.... past events related to the character, I believe this is necessary.
Again, this does not apply to ARG content, short horror stories, blogs, etc. If you want to write a story about a fictional experience with Slender Man from the common framing of "posting about creepy thing that happened to me", go ahead. It's very easy to tell who's sinply trying to make a creepy post and who is posting something they believe in ernest. And if I can't tell the difference, I'll just shoot you a DM, or go by how users of this subreddit interpret it (usually the report system works well for this, very rarely have I seen arg or story posts flagged by someone for the "no roleplay" rule, and the few times I have it's clearly been someone who has no concept of an ARG or creepypasta flagging something innocent and it can be ignored)
Any questions, feel free to comment.

What are your headcanons on what HABIT’s true form is from EverymanHYBRID? In my opinion, it’s the beast from OTGW

This is probably stupid
I had this dream a few years ago where I was in this diner at night, the power was out, and Slender Man was outside running toward me on all fours like a gorilla. And for whatever reason, I was shouting my brother's name, and I was extremely scared. It felt so real. I don't know, I just thought I'd share this. What do you guys think?

Was the film good?
I rewatched the movie 2 days ago and I guess it was good but why they deleted some of the scenes like:
1- Chloe Death 2- Tom suicide 3- Missing person comes from forest
I think it would be better if those scenes were added cuz like they just go one time to Chloe's house to check on her and thats it? İt doesnt make any sense since they try to find Kate in the whole film

Further Investigation...
This is the second part of my Slenderman writing project, if you haven't read the first part you probably should (it's on my profile!)
This part details Alex's further sighting of the mysterious creature, as well as his attempts at discussing what he saw with others.

The Initial Sighting (Something I wrote up as the beginning of an idea I've had regarding a Slenderman interpretation)
Not sure how well liked this will be, I'm not hyper familiar with the fandom but I've always been a fan of the character and wanted to get back into writing stuff.

Share this and let's all make this happen
We should tell James Wan and Scott Derrickson to co-direct the Slender Man movie we want, and have Leigh Whannell, Chad Hayes, and Carey W. Hayes be the writers. And they should have Jim Henson's Creature Shop and Spectral Motion do the Slender Man costume/makeup and effects. And they should have Mark Korven compose the score.
Let's do this!

Looking for someone to run youtube channel
I am currently working on a slenderseries but don't have the resources to run the youtube channel as well as the blogs. I need someone else to manage the video portion of the series.
The characters needed are: August-18-20 year old male, sensitive and introspective. Leo-18-30 year old male, a serial killer hunting down those he deems inauthentic, cynical and cruel. Dr. Eric Maxwell-40-50 year old male, seemingly supportive and compassionate, Maxwell's motives are brought into question.
Message me here or on Tumblr at tumblr.com/theshowthatneverends.

Anyone know who the children are in the original Slenderman image?
Do they even know about Slendermen? Are they dead?

If only they made a better Slender Man movie
If only they didn't base the movie on the real-life Slender Man stabbing, and it had a much better cast, and had Leigh Whannell be the writer, and James Wan be the director, and if only it had Spectral Motion and Jim Henson's Creature Shop involved, then maybe it would have been good. Maybe we should tell James Wan and the rest of the people I mentioned to make a Slender Man movie that is infinitely better than the 2018 film. What do you guys think?
