I wonder how Darkseid would've accessed the Anti Life equation from the Earth's surface and who could've placed the Anti Life on earth in the first place. Was it High Father, Anti Monitor or some ancient beings? I would loved to watch how that would've worked in the JL sequels and would he have succeeded in defeating earth's defenders.

What is your favorite MCU?

While I don’t enjoy most of them I think for me it would be infinity war, that movie was probably the most serious MCU movie which made the movie more enjoyable for me (as serious as a MCU movie can be) Also I love movies when the Heroes/Protagonist lose.

I’m just saying it’s been almost ten years since bvs. And I’m not talking about the people that are simply fans of mos or bvs. I mean the people that whole heartedly think that if they make enough noise that dc will bring Snyder back and the cast to finish his movies.

The hardcore fans that hate Gunn and think he canceled the snyderverse and ruined everything and blah blah.

Like genuinely. Do you people actually believe the snyderverse can somehow be restored?

And yes Justice league was released but it was done to get people on max and because it was 99% done.

I think Christopher Nolan would work really with Zack Snyder especially since he was a producer for Man of Steel which was one of my favorite movies.

I also think Sam Raimi or maybe Matthew Vaughn would be interesting.

can we like, convince zack to release his true vision for sucker punch and drop the snyder cut for it, i really like the extended cut alot and i think the movie is perfect but i always wondered what was his true vision for such a masterpiece

Like I won't lie I did enjoy the Snyder cut of Justice League it was much better than the original one that was released, but I'm also excited for what Gunn is doing with DC and excited to see his take on the characters, but I guess I'm just wondering why it feels like you have to pick a side with Snyder or Gunn when I like things that both directors have made with DC

This may sound like a dumb as hell question but I thought about buying a physical version of ZSJL, but I only prefer the black and white version for my own pretentious reasons. The thing is that I'm afraid it'll look different if I just turn the grayscale on my TV, I remember reading that Snyder was very specific on the types of grays he was using for scenes but idk if that's a false memory cuz that was like 4 years ago. I don't own HBO Max at the moment so I can't really test this theory out so if someone is able to it would be appreciated.

Has the plot of that movie ever been discussed by Zack or Ben because it was one of the movies that I was really hoping to be produced when the DCEU was still around. All I have heard is that it was going to be a very dark movie and that was pretty much it.

In terms of lead actor, I wonder whether Snyder would go with a fresh face, or re-team with Sofia Boutella (Rebel Moon).

Perhaps he could even throw Ray Fisher a deserved bone of a lead role. Fisher was secularly strong in Malcom Washington’s The Piano Lesson (play and film) last year, and it is high time he gets his time to shine.

In the wider cast, Joe Manganiello would be fun to see.

Disclaimer: I know diddly squat about wrestling - so my real interest in this project comes from it being from Snyder as a filmmaker, especially as an original story drawing upon real life.

What are your thoughts?

Before Snyder superhero films were mostly just worthless theme park rides made for people to shovel popcorn in their mouths and keep people entertained for a couple hours. Then, Snyder came into the genre and made bold artistic statements that asked questions, made people think, and had real meaning. Even directors like Nolan had never pushed the envelope this far. Snyder himself paved the way for serious complex works of art in comic book cinema and without him we wouldn't have gotten movies like Logan or Joker.

Enter Gunn. He comes in, kills the Snyderverse, and ruins evening Snyder accomplished. Gunn was always the one infecting cinema with cringe quippy humor and ragtag found family BS. You know what movies Gunn inspired? Borderlands and Star Trek: Section 31, two of the worst movies in the last year. Unlike Snyder, Gunn has had a net-negative effect on cinema as a whole, and now he's spreading his disease to DC.

The new Superman movie looks exactly like what everyone thought. The ragtag group of asshole heroes like GOTG, silly dumb jokes like Krypto hurting Superman. After Snyder did so much to elevate these dumb movies, Gunn just comes in and knocks it all down with 1 swing. The restoration of the Snyderverse is the last chance to save cinema before everything is infected by Gunn's influence. God, please let this Superman bomb.
