Down stem replacement help

I have a very old Good Stash(Chong glass after operation pipe dream) that I need to find a down stem replacement for. Problem is it's a very wide hole and need like a very thick rubber gasket. Suggestions?

Maybe just clean it and bring it into a smoke shop. The person running the shop should be able to help you find something, and at least you can test different pieces out if you aren’t sure.

The iso is on the way. It was actually left outside by a roomate for like 4 years. Somehow survived.

Look for hookah grommets on Amazon, should be able to find a variety pack for 10 bucks, measure the hole and you'll have better luck finding the right size. I think this style would be called a slide downstem but not entirely sure.

Use a measuring tape, measure the hole size in mm then go online and buy said mm gasket/grommet. Once it gets to you take it to the glass shop to be fitted for a downstem. Or you could hit up thestonedpotter on IG, he could make you a custom that fits like a glove

Cork is really hard to drill cleanly. You need a cork punch, usually.

If you start small and work your way up to 14mm or try soaking the cork submerged overnight

Cork is unsafe. Most cork isn’t real cork, and is made with a ton of glue.

You can put a glass on glass downstem in that bong. I’ll post a picture in a few minutes. I have an old bong I upgraded to glass on glass
