Rust Advice

Looking for some insight on this area of rust. Is it structural? No rust is on any other part of the vehicle.

This is a 2003 NA 5 Speed, 173k miles. New head gasket, timing belt, and water pump installed at 165k.

I will be posting for sale this week, just need to know how this rust will impact pricing and negotiation, or if there is something I can do about it. Thanks in advance.

If you remove the panels from side and bed im 100% sure you gonna find some big ones. I thought mine had few holes on bottom and ended up making like 2/3 of bed floor and lot under the gas tank etc.

Someone who wants a Baja will find value in that car and will fix it up. That person seems to only be me though after perusing all of the Subaru/baja forums.

I own one in worse condition and am restoring it now.

Good luck with selling. They’re quirky cars and remember that only ~30k were made. Maybe you’ll find the right buyer that got bit by the nostalgia bug.

That would be a parts car only for me. I'd temper expectations on getting much for it.
