Basically I’m going to a new school this year and I’m deciding whether or not to dress fem or alt the first day. Cuz on one hand dressing alt is do able I can make it through the day without crying in the bathroom. But on the other hand wearing like a skirt and thigh highs would make me stick out BUT everyone in the school would know I’m a femboy from that point on and I wouldn’t have to worry. Plus it’ll be way more easier to find femboy friends. Keep in mind this is an art school. But also keep in mind that it’s a school inside a school so there is an art school inside this bigger regular school that share the same campus. Whenever I meet femboys they usually dress not fem at school and at the very least alt or something. Plus this is in America so people won’t be to accepting. I want everyone to know I’m a femboy but I don’t wanna dress like it THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL but I should get it over with. Idk I think it would be funny to dress super feminine and alt one day and then pull up in jeans and a t shirt the next day lol. I have summer break so I can do all the necessary changes with out meeting the consequences by showing up to school. To clarify I have supportive parents who know, friends who support and know, friends who don’t know but I can tell they’d be supportive and friends that would not like me at all and we r really close so uh yeah. Anyway I NEED ADVICE TELL ME PLEZ PLEZ PLEZ PLEZ

Building outfits that reflect your personal style while blending with your surroundings is key. Here are some tips:
Everyday Casual Look
- Hoodies + Thigh-High Socks:
Pair an oversized hoodie with thigh-high socks for a cozy and stylish look.
- Leggings + Skater Skirts:
Wear leggings under a skirt for a layered look that’s practical and chic.
- Colors to Blend In:
Stick to soft tones (gray, beige, pastel pink) for a subtle touch.
Playful and Feminine
- Skirts with Fitted Tops:
Combine a pleated skirt with a fitted top or bralette for a balanced silhouette.
- Accessories:
Add simple jewelry like a chain necklace or cute hair clips.
Exploring Wigs - Pair a natural-looking wig with neutral outfits to experiment with different styles. Soft curls or straight cuts work well for beginners.

2.2 Avoiding Laundry Detection - Wash delicate items like bras, panties, and thigh-highs separately: - Hand Wash: Clean them quickly in the sink, wring them out gently, and let them dry in a hidden spot (e.g., inside a closet or behind furniture <<Make sure that they get proper air circulation, otherwise they could grow mold and start to smell>>) - Use Quick Cycles: If using the washer, do so when no one’s home. Immediately retrieve items and fold them discreetly.
2.3 Disposing of Evidence
- Tags and Receipts:
Discard them in a public trash can on your way home.
- Shopping Bags:
Reuse them for something practical or throw them away outside the house.

3 Outfit Ideas These suggestions balance femboy elements with subtlety, allowing you to experiment while maintaining comfort.
3.1 Casual and Discreet
- Pastel Hoodie + Leggings:
Choose a pastel or neutral oversized hoodie and pair it with black or gray leggings for a cozy, approachable look.
- Loose Shirt + Thigh-High Socks:
Wear a slightly oversized T-shirt or long-sleeve top with striped thigh-high socks. It’s playful but easy to pass off as casual loungewear.
3.2 Bolder and Feminine
- Pleated Skirt + Fitted Turtleneck:
A simple skater or pleated skirt paired with a turtleneck creates a cute and chic silhouette.
- Cropped Top + Baggy Pants:
A cropped hoodie or bralette balanced with baggy jeans offers a modern, relaxed vibe.

4.1 Experimenting in Private
4.1.1 Thigh-High Socks or Stockings: - Easy to fold and tuck into a drawer or bag. - Look for neutral or solid colors (black, white, gray) or fun patterns (stripes, stars, or pastel tones). 4.1.2 Panties or Boxers with Feminine Prints: - Lace or satin panties in muted tones can be folded small and hidden easily. 4.1.3 Basic Crop Tops: - A cropped hoodie or tank top that doesn’t take up much space. 4.1.4 Leggings or Tights: - They roll up tightly and are versatile for experimenting.
4.2 Accessories 4.2.1 Chokers or Necklaces: - Simple chokers or chain necklaces are easy to hide in a small pouch. 4.2.2 Hair Accessories: - Scrunchies, headbands, or barrettes can be tucked into a pocket or bag. 4.2.3 Nail Polish: - A single bottle of neutral or clear polish is easy to store. (If you go to school and have lockers, you can store these items in there. You could also put it in a small bag, and put that in your larger backpack)
4.3 Makeup (Optional) - Lip Gloss or Lip Balm: - Choose clear or lightly tinted shades for subtle experimentation. - Concealer or Foundation Stick: - Compact and discreet for practicing makeup.

4.4.3 Neutral Tops: Cropped hoodies or fitted tees in neutral shades are versatile and low-risk.
