I think it was less the healthcare system, and more the splattering an innocent mans brains on the sidewalk. Edit: You pussies can downvote it all you want but this has fucking ZEEERRRROOOO to do with healthcare.
If it’s “just” murdering a man, then why the federal change ?

Seriously they invite some random murderer to be a guest speaker at CPAC like every year.

Didn't they invite the St Louis couple that brandished guns because people had the audacity to walk past their house?

It's similar to how Trump is a peace dove except when he's threatening the sovereignty of Iran, Canada, Greenland, Panama, or Gaza, or dropping bombs on Yemen. But he's not going to defend Ukraine who is defending itself from a tyrant asshole, so Trump is a peacefew wittlew doe-eyed wamb.

A man in USA killed 23 people in a racist attack in a store. He also wounded further 22 people. The prosecution offered a plea deal for him to avoid the death penalty.
Why? Do they support the racist shooter but want to make an example out of a guy who likely even wasn't the shooter so that people wouldn't think that they can get away with attacking rich people?
Actually I think there is a much simpler explanation.
1) The police in USA are incompetent and messed up both investigations. 2) The prosecutors are voted in and thus need to look good.
The mass murderer could walk away and this would make the prosecutor look bad. So they offer a plea deal so that they can call this a win.
Meanwhile, the evidence against Luigi is really shady and might get thrown out in court because it appears that even if the police didn't plant a gun and other evidence on him, their illegal search means that these things can not be used in court due to being tainted by connection to the unlawful search. The prosecutor knows that their chances of losing are really high, so rather than risk an embarrassing loss they will make a show of this. Calling for death penalty and creating a media circus of their own lets them accept the defeat with "well, at least I did my best in trying to get this guy into an electric chair (or whatever they use for execution.)"
If the police in USA were capable of following the laws, there would be less embarrassing famous court cases like these. The regular folks who can't afford to hire good attorneys mainly end up in prison because the attorneys can't prove that the police violated laws in their operations.

Kyle Rittenhouse is the most textbook example of self defence I ever seen, I read the timeline established in court that the victims agree with, Kyle only shot when: they tried to grapple his gun away from him, he was on the ground and the victim was trying to bash his head in with skateboard and when he had a gun literally pointed at his head, Rittenhouse only ever tried to deescalate by running away and creating distance to his attackers and they kept escalating by chasing him, trying grap his gun out of nowhere, bash his head in and pointing a gun at him. Dont be like maga and ignore reality

deescalate
You know what would've really deescalated things? Him not crossing state lines and having a gun he shouldn't have been allowed to have, then putting himself in a dangerous situation of his own creation.

I love this arguement, Im so sad democrats can be this hypocritical too. Do you know who also brought a gun to a protest and ACTUALLY acted like they wanted an excuse to kill people? The group that instigated this incident with rittenhouse, they brought a gun to a BLM protest they are just as guilty as rittenhouse if not more since rittenhouse has the excuse of working with law enforcement to protect private property near the protest

Would any of that happen if he hadn't introduced a gun into the situation? Did he brandish the gun or threaten anyone with it before any of that happened? That would make a world of fucking difference about who has a better claim to self defense. If those people did that shit and he had a CCW, I'd agree. If he pulled a gun, it's the people who were attacking him that have more of a legitimate claim to self defense. This is why open carry, especially with a long gun is fucking stupid in an urban area. It serves more of a purpose to send a political message than self defense. Lots of towns in the old west made travelers check their guns when they came to town.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenosha_unrest_shooting Rittenhouse had been called to put out a burning car and was carrying a fire extinguisher in his arms when he was ambushed by 2 people, one who had been spotted acting deranged and violent earlier that day. I recommend reading the timeline so you dont think im taking anything out lf context

Shittenhouse could have avoided the danger by...not coming to the protest armed and looking for protesters to shoot.

u/Ezben 5d ago
the people he shot ALSO brought their own gun to the protest, why only focus on rittenhouse, who proved in court he didnt actually instigate any violence compared to the people he shot

u/bittlelum I watch anime to overcome the woke agenda 5d ago
Shittenhouse specifically went to the protest looking to shoot people who were acting against police brutality. He's a piece of shit.

u/Ezben 5d ago
thats just not true since he only ever used his gun as a last resort, and repeatedly tried to deescalate, it was the group he shot that went there looking for violence. I think its SO hypocritical to think this about rittenhouse and not the group that assaulted him when they ALSO brought a gun to the protest and actually escalated violence repeatedly. If rittenhouse just wanted to kill people why didnt he just shoot all three of them when they tried to grab his gun? Instead he ran, only shooting when he was on the ground getting his head bashed in with a skate board, RAN AGAIN and only shot the final time when he was in a dead end with a gun pointed at him by a guy who had no reason to keep chasing rittenhouse outside of wanting to kill him

He wouldn't have needed any resort if he hadn't come to threaten civil rights protesters. Stop defending the homicidal little shit.

Why are you ignoring all agency from the other involved party? They showed up to a civil rights protest with guns and started assaulting people. Rittenhouse is a nazi piece of shit but he is not homicidal and every time I see people saying he is I feel lm with a maga cult shouting how "there was no violence at 6" because the other side can possible right about anything and there cant be any misinformation on their side. It was textbook self defence, he didnt threaten anyone HE was threatened

If you come brandishing a gun against civil rights protesters, you get whatever is coming to you.

Which civil rights protestors? The white child rapist felon screaming racial slurs and trying to destroy minority-owned businesses?

The ones trying to focus attention on police brutality.
