Will share some others at another time after some editing, but these "raw" ones I particularly liked.

Trail camera compilation from the west side. It features multiple mountain lions and a man hanging out with a javelina!

I don't know if the guy knew the javelina was there, but it was a surprising shot to get on a trail camera. It's near the end of the video. The mountain lions are in the first half. There is also a musical montage of defecating javelinas, plus bobcats, coyotes, deer, jackrabbits, and more.

New(ish) to South Tucson (Wakefield / Sunset Villa)

Hey Tucson, my family and I just moved to Wakefield, right on the edge of Sunset Villa. Before this, we were renting in Barrio Hollywood for a few years, and before that, we lived in Barrio Anita and Barrio Nopal (when I was a kid). We’re originally from the PYT reservation, so Tucson has always been home in one way or another.

So far, I feel like Wakefield is super underrated—it's close to Downtown, the freeway, and some really great food spots. For those who’ve lived here a while: how have you seen the neighborhood change over the years? What do you like about it now, and what should newcomers like me be aware of?

One thing I’m still adjusting to is how concentrated the fentanyl and homelessness issues seem to be here. We definitely saw some of that in the barrios, but not nearly as often or as visibly.

It’s also wild how close Wakefield is to places like Barrio Viejo, Armory Park, and Five Points—areas that have gentrified fast and gotten really expensive. With all the development happening around us, do you think Wakefield is next?

Affordable micro wedding ideas in Tucson

Me and my fiancé are planning on getting married next month in May. We were thinking more of doing an elopement, but would like a nice setting or place we can rent that isn’t too expensive no more than $600 if possible. No more than 20 would be attending. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Some are screen grabs from videos. Sorry. The point is… this place is rad. Bar, concert venu, digital axe throwing, laser tag, augmented reality bowling, video darts, giant arcade and tiny rentable 16 person theaters. Plus food and tons of hangout space! It’s where the bed bath and beyond used to be on Grant and swan.

Question About Rialto

Are seats in upper balcony fine? I’m looking at tix for Jimmy Eat World and debating between lower balcony or upper. The theater looks small so I’m just not sure if we should spend the extra money on lower balcony if it doesn’t really matter.

Beginner Trail Recommendations

Hello my fellow people. I am going to go on my first hike today! (Woohoo!!) I need some trail recommendations, I have gotten the alltrails app but it’s not the easiest to navigate especially as a beginner it’s a bit overwhelming lol. For context I’m in college and not in the best of shape and I’m trying to get back into things. I have pretty good stamina just for regular run of the mill walking and things like that but I am terrible on incline and would like to work on it. The weather is amazing today so anywhere can honestly work but I would prefer a hike on the west side if possible. Thank you everyone in advance.

(P.s. I also know literally nothing about hiking and really want to get into it but I am doing this alone so any recs on what to bring or any tips would be AMAZING)

Can anyone help me identify this critter that is digging holes and taking up residence in my yard? I initially thought woodchuck, but a friend says woodchucks are more rotund and don’t usually stand up like that.

Dessert walking tours

Did some searching and can't seem to find a dessert walking tour as Google keeps suggesting desert tours. Can someone recommend some dessert places open late afternoon? I'll map them out and make my own tour and a little driving in between is ok.
